Bankfoot Bowling Club

Despite the rain, the bowlers took to the Green today to play in the Jack Aitken Memorial Cup which is played as an Australian Pairs Competition. Some great bowling taking place. The final was played between Charlie Norris and John Kellas against Ian Wallace and Chris Boynes. Hardlines to Charlie and John and well done to Ian and Chris.

Another two of the ladies finals took place this evening. Cathy Kellas against Mary Ledingham in the Gilkey Shield. Well done to Cathy and commiserations to Mary. In the other final of the Wardrope Trophy was Beth McCurdy and Kim Carr. Well done to Beth and Commiserations to Kim.
There will now be a play off for Ladies Green Champion.

Tonight seen two of the Gents Singles Finals taking place. Great crowd of spectators. Congratulations to Ally Ritchie who beat Gary Turpie in the handicap, a very close game. Congratulations to Brian Tait who won the Tom Young singles against Colin Dow another great game.

The final of the Ladies Pairs took place this week. Hardlines to Julie Findlay and Hazel Sims. Well done to Sheona Ross and Cathy Kellas.
