The Highland Open is only a few weeks away. It’s one of our favourite competitions! There is still time to get your entry in, via Sport80.

Several WFFC fencers will be making the trip to Elgin to fence. Come and join us!

Following on from his fundraising by running in fencing kit during the recent heatwave, Hayder presented Salle Ossian with a cheque for £1235. This is amazing and will fund a portable defibrillator for the club, as well as cover the training and sundries. See his interview next.

Well done Salle Ossians who fenced at the Scottish Veterans yesterday and huge congratulations to Stephen Ferguson who won gold in the mixed sabre, Silvia who won silver in the women’s sabre and Fiona who took bronze in the women’s sabre and her first ever competition.
