With the end of the virus related restrictions hopefully in sight we are looking forward to getting back into the classroom.
Many of our courses are still planned for online delivery but there's no substitute really for the interaction between delegates on face to face training.
Of course some training just cant be done on the platform, we've had first aid courses running over the country for essential sites and services, and the vehicle marshal has been as popular as ever out on sites, some pictures from the local authority sustainable drainage scheme in Blackburn and one of our trained vehicle marshals from Kilmac taking a protected position at the new B&M store in Crieff.
Although our site environmental training has been delivered remotely over the last year we have still been out on site for the BSIF Spill Responders, a course we will be hoping to promote more this coming year. Pictured are the newly trained spill responders practicing at the new Broughty Ferry flood defense.
Lots of information on all our courses on the website www.jbsafesite.com

Thanks to all the great delegates we've had on our Site Managers courses over the last few weeks, its just not the same delivering online but its good to see we can still generate a bit of banter.
We've still got spaces on our upcoming SMSTS and SMSTS refresher courses:
SMSTS 26th - 30th April
SMSTS - R 6th - 7th May
The SMSTS course is one that we listed on our special offers earlier in the year at £245.00 per delegate.

After a lot of hard work I think you will all agree that Miles has done a fantastic job of the new website.....

We always appreciate any comments so have a look. It should be easier than ever to book onto courses and find information. The blogs will be updated regularly with news and information that we think will interest you, and of course all the stories that we get sent in from workplaces, well those we can repeat without incriminating anyone!!

CITB Courses, Watch this Space:
With the CITB announcing a definitive date for the end of the grace period for SSP qualification refreshers, such as SSSTS and SMSTS. Anyone holding these certificates which have been extended due to the pandemic, must now attend a refresher course before the 31st March 2021. We will be adding further distance learning courses to our 2021 course calendar to make sure we are there for anyone requiring re-qualification. Drop us an email for dates, alternatively all dates will be able to be booked on the new website due to be launched by the end of the month.

Keep your workforce current and efficient:
Throughout these unprecedented times it is important that we keep our staff working efficiently, and preparing properly for returning to work! It has never been more important to make sure skills and competencies are current and effective.
Nationally accredited training courses are all adapted to be delivered safely, some still in the classroom, but many by blended learning or entirely online such as the CITB suite.
We have now released our 2021 training calendar, containing the dates and prices. Email Laura, [email protected] to receive a copy. We look forward to working with you in the coming year.

As with many of you I'm sure we are back up and running today after our break over the Christmas period. Despite remaining under the cloud of coronavirus restrictions we are fortunate that construction sites are being permitted to operate within the tier 4 restrictions currently affecting most of Scotland
