I’m very excited to announce something new for everyone who has purchased a horse from Friesians Scotland!

I want to celebrate the amazing partnerships that are getting out there, having fun and making memories with their Friesian and Barock Pinto horses. ❤️

So, for the first time, we will be holding the Friesians Scotland Stars of 2026 Awards! 🏆

This isn't simply about who gets the highest dressage score or wins the most competitions. I want to celebrate ALL the different ways you enjoy your horse and the achievements you make together.

Whether you're competing for the red rosette, completing your first test, tackling your first fun ride, trying something completely new or simply getting out there and building a fantastic partnership with your horse — I want to hear about it! 🥰

🏆 HOW IT WORKS

All outings, competitions and achievements during 2026 can be submitted.

There will be prizes for our winners, with the results being announced in January 2027! 🎉

The aim is to celebrate the partnership, progress, participation and achievements of horses and riders who have come from Friesians Scotland — not simply the highest scores.

There is just one important rule:

Results and outings where the horse is being ridden or presented by a professional trainer cannot be used as part of the competition.

So, if your horse was bred by or previously owned by Friesians Scotland and you've been out and about with them during 2026, start keeping a record of everything you've done!

Your first competition, your best score, your first rosette, your biggest achievement, your favourite outing, or simply the moment you thought “Wow, look how far we've come!” 🤩

Every achievement counts.

We have had some updates today from Kelley Cunningham who has a Former Friesians Scotland girl, 4 years old "Valente FS". They have been out trying new activities at the weekend, including having a go at an in hand Concours class and working equitation.

The beautiful combination were placed 1st in the Concours 🥰
