Our junior term-time activities are back across Perth & Kinross, with sessions for everyone from pre-schoolers to older school-age children.

Gymnastics, swimming lessons, football, cricket and junior gym, all in a fun, safe and supportive environment, with coaches who love what they do. Our activities are designed to help children explore new interests, stay active and build friendships. 💫

Spaces tend to fill up quickly at this time of year, so it's worth booking early.

🏢Part Time Leisure Assistant
📍North Inch Community Campus, Perth
⏰13 hours per week (3 week rota pattern)

We're looking for a friendly, reliable individual who enjoys interacting with the community.

You'll work closely with school staff, clubs, groups and individuals, setting up and breaking down equipment while ensuring the safety of customers and providing a welcoming experience. On occasion you may also work at events at GDAA.

If you're a team player who enjoys a hands-on role within the community, we'd love to hear from you!

First Aid at Work Certificate is essential. Due to lone working, applicants must be over 18.

PVG Membership is required before starting in the role.

We're looking for ambitious, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our team at Breadalbane Community Campus. You'll lead, direct and supervise a team of leisure staff, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety and customer service while working in partnership with Campus personnel to deliver a quality experience for the local community.

Looking for an exciting change of direction? If you have supervisory experience and transferable skills, we'd encourage you to apply, full training will be provided on the job!

RLSS Pool Lifeguard Qualification is essential (can be obtained on appointment).

PVG Scheme Membership is required.

Congratulations to Lucy Cross! Winner of Youth Volunteer of the Year at the Volunteering in Perth & Kinross awards.

Lucy has given over 200 hours to Live Active Gymnastics as well as helping the Perth Grammar School gymnastics team at competitions.

Alongside her role as a Perth Grammar School Sports Ambassador, her commitment and reliability make her a brilliant role model for young people across the area.

Ideal candidates should hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. A Scottish Swimming Teacher Qualification (or equivalent) and Gym Instructor Level 2 are desirable.

Last week Active Schools Perth & Kinross teamed up with Community Link and The Bike Station - Perth to deliver two brilliant Bertha Park Transition Days, helping a group of pupils get ready for the big step up to S1 next week.

With young people joining from five different primary schools, the days were all about building confidence and making friends before term starts. They got stuck into arts and crafts, took on a scavenger hunt around their new school, battled it out at ultimate frisbee, and rounded things off with a bike ride to Scone Palace. 🚲

They're now heading into first year with new friends and a lot more confidence!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the two days such a success. 👏
