🏄‍♀️✨ ACHMELVICH… WHAT A WEEKEND! ✨🏄‍♀️

What an absolutely AMAZING adventure we had in Achmelvich in the far north of Scotland last weekend! ❤️

This weekend had a little bit of everything - mystery, excitement, adventure, sunshine, a wee drizzle of rain, lots of laughter and, most importantly, brilliant company. These are the weekends that remind us exactly why we love what we do!

🦴 Exploring the Bone Caves
We headed off to discover the incredible Bone Caves, exploring inside and soaking up the history and mystery of this fascinating place.

🏰 Paddleboarding at Ardvreck Castle
This was a HUGE highlight! For the first time ever, we took our paddleboards out at the spectacular Ardvreck Castle. What an experience! Paddling beneath the ruins, surrounded by that wild Highland landscape, was something pretty special and a first for every single one of us. 😍

🏖️ Achmelvich Beach
Of course, no trip here would be complete without spending time at the stunning Achmelvich Beach. White sands, turquoise water, sunshine, a wee drizzle of rain (because it is Scotland after all 😂) and fish & chips by the beach, absolutely perfect!

💦 We also discovered one of the area’s beautiful waterfalls and with so many hidden gems around this part of Scotland, there is always somewhere new to explore.

🎲 In the evening, it was back to our gorgeous hostel to get cosy, play board games, laugh, chat and simply enjoy each other’s company. Sometimes those quieter moments end up being some of the best parts of the whole weekend. ❤️

And the GREAT NEWS… WE’RE GOING BACK THIS OCTOBER! 🍂🏔️

We’ll be staying in another fantastic hostel, very similar to the amazing place we stayed at Achmelvich Bay, and heading off for another weekend packed with adventure, exploring, paddling, laughter and new memories.
