Match report: Letham Vs Luncarty 🟡 ⚫

What an unbelievable game! ⚽🔥 Both teams were fantastic from start to finish, with solid defending, exciting attacking football and plenty of drama.

Luncarty started strongly and went 1-0 up early doors through Max P. Shortly after, Muz delivered a brilliant cross which Jacob met perfectly and slotted home, but unfortunately the goal was ruled out for a very tight offside.

Letham hit back on the counter in the closing minutes of the first half to make it 1-1 at half-time.

The second half started at a frantic pace, with both teams flying forward. Letham took advantage and went 2-1 ahead, but the Luncarty boys reacted brilliantly. Max P pounced on a ball that hadn't been cleared from the defensive line and fired it home to make it 2-2.

The final 10 minutes were end-to-end, with both teams pushing for the winner. The Letham keeper then saved a shot from Jamie but Max P was waiting in the box to hit the rebound and put it in the back of the net to get his hattrick and make it 3-2 Luncarty.

With just three minutes remaining, Letham pushed hard for an equaliser, but the Luncarty boys defended brilliantly and held firm right until the final whistle.

What a performance from the boys this morning! 💪

The lads got off to a flying start and were rewarded with an early goal after just 4 minutes. We continued to press and play some great football, adding another goal on 12 minutes.

Breadalbane managed to pull one back on 19 minutes, but the boys didn't let that affect them. We responded almost immediately with another goal on 20 minutes to take a 3–1 lead at the break.

The second half was all Luncarty. The boys continued to work hard, move the ball well and create plenty of chances, adding further goals on 46, 56 and 70 minutes to complete an excellent 6–1 victory. 👏⚽

A really impressive team performance from start to finish, with everyone working hard for each other and showing some fantastic football along the way.

A brilliant performance from the boys today away to Kinross in our latest pre-season friendly! 💪

The first half was an end-to-end affair, with both teams solid and unbreakable until just before half time, when Kinross found a through ball and finished to take a 1–0 lead.

The boys stepped it up in the second half! 🔥 A brilliant corner from Max and an excellent free kick from Harris put us in front.

The boys kept pushing from there, with Dakota meeting a great cross to score before Connor capped off a full match of unbelievable hard work with a very well-deserved goal. 👏⚽

A fantastic 4–2 win and plenty of positives to take from another strong pre-season performance! 🟡⚫⚽

Luncarty vs Crieff (Home)

The boys played their final ever 9-a-side match at Langlands yesterday, and the sunshine provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion.

The first half was a closely contested affair, with play flowing from end to end. Goalkeeper Austin was in outstanding form, producing several saves that any Premier League goalkeeper would have been proud of and keeping us firmly in the game.

At half-time, we spoke to the boys about a few areas we wanted to change, and they went out and executed the game plan perfectly. Every single player was outstanding in the second half. The defence was solid, the midfield worked tirelessly, and the attack applied constant pressure. The boys were simply unstoppable after the break.

It was a fantastic performance and a brilliant way to finish the season.

After the match, the coaches took the boys into Perth for some food before heading to a local pool hall, where a few tables had been booked for the team to relax and celebrate together.

We are incredibly proud of this group and everything they have achieved throughout the year. After a well-earned break, we will be back with big plans and plenty of excitement as we begin our pre-season preparations.
