Shelagh is coming to Kilgraston to offer clinics through TAP for thoroughbred owners and riders of non thoroughbreds at all levels 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, Shelagh Steven is an Accredited Professional Coach with a passion for developing both horses and riders 🐴✨

Her equestrian journey began with the Pony Club, where she achieved the prestigious Pony Club A Test

Alongside coaching, Shelagh competes in affiliated dressage and has qualified multiple times for the National Petplan Championships with her Welsh Cob in both straight dressage and freestyle to music 🎶🐴

Shelagh is also actively involved in:

Her coaching philosophy is centred around harmony between horse and rider, while prioritising horse welfare, confidence, and long-term development ❤️

Well what can we say! We are so proud of our young apprentice Ashlyn who not only went out on her new horse to her very first competition with us but then only went and won it! Well done Ash we are all so proud of the work you have put in and your journey with us and Frenchie so far!

Much appreciation for our hay fields being cut and baled something very satisfying about those neat rows turned into round bales and leaving us with neatly cut fields !

To all of you who are prepping into the evening tonight for weekend shows or doing the early morning bath at dawn then dashing off in the Horsebox .. remember to take a moment to capture these special horse and rider moments in your mind. Not the competition ones as you’ll no doubt have a professional photographer doing that for you . Take a breath and little snapshot for your memories at the yard because these moments are just as special 💖 also GOOD LUCK competing and ENJOY!
