Breaststroke swimming holiday.
Over the last few years we've introduced a couple of new swimming holiday formats. These have included the 'slow swimming' and 'slow, short & social' swimming holidays. New for 2027 is the 'Breaststroke' swimming holiday. Ideal for anyone that swims breaststroke, is in the process of trandsitioning to some front crawl...but also ideal for anyone nervous about sea swimming, new to open water swimming...
Safety always comes into our choice of swim location but on this holiday we'll choose super safe and flat locations. Covering shorter distances.

Masters pool sessions starting soon!
We're back in the pool in St Ives, from the start of October. Sessions designed for anyone that can swim front crawl. We have 3 lanes, for varying abilities. Starting with lane 1 - swimming up to 1km over 60 minutes, with a mixture of drills, technique, a little bit of hard work.... all the way through to Lane 3, who will swim up to 1700m - 2km - still working on technique but also completing a structured main set etc.
Friday evening, 6.30-7.30pm and 5.30-6.30pm every second Friday of the month.

Look at the clarity of that water!
We'd originally planned a triple swimming day in St Ives but the conditions had other ideas. So here we are in the stunning Perranuthnoe area instead. Love this place. Like a lot of west Cornwall, there are iconic, well known areas...but it's a lot of the lesser known, less famous areas that often offer the best swims.

Wait until you see the end of the video!
We’ve been cheating on the sea recently. Whilst the guilt levels are high, we just can’t stay away from the quarry. We’re back there again on Saturday afternoon.
Early morning footage of the stunning lake, pre-recent waterpolo tournament. Whilst the goals are long gone, that stunning water is still sat there waiting for our return…and we’re back with sauna in tow.

There’s always time on a swimming holiday for some local exploration. Penzance town centre seems to be having somewhat of a rejuvenation. So many of the vacant shops over the past year or two now have tenants…and some fantastic tenants at that!

Meet Gavin. He very generously joined me earlier in the year, on my 24-ish km charity swim. Gavin works for us part time and currently works as a professional beach lifeguard. He’s also been swimming some distances all summer, in preparation for his channel attempt, window starts Wednesday. He’s raising money for Mind, in the process (link below).

Took a small group out for a swim in St Ives and the group of 3 soon became 4!
Plenty of swimming activity still going on in west Cornwall and the Lizard with us.
