Due to a serious injury to our goalkeeper towards the end of last season and being let down for the start of this season. St Buryan Ladies are still searching for a Goalkeeper for the upcoming season. Come and join our friendly and welcoming squad, to compete in DIV 2 of the Cornwall Women’s Football League.

St Buryan Ladies – Match Recap ⚽️💙

Last week we kicked off our league campaign with a small squad but big energy. Eleven of us made the long trip to face Saltash United Dev — new to the CWFL and a seriously strong, well‑drilled side.

It was a tough afternoon and we went down to ten players in the second half. The final score was 11–0, but the effort never dropped. Every single player grafted until the end and it was just brilliant to be back out on the pitch together again.

Huge thanks to Saltash for the warm welcome — best of luck for the rest of the season 💙

Stepped up to go in goal and despite the scoreline did actually make some saves! Here she is with her player sponsor, Sarah Wyatt from the St.Buryan Inn.

No game this weekend — next up, we’re back at home to face another new side, Truro.

Good performance today by the girls. First run out for the season, game played in good spirits. Thank you Dropship for a lovely game, hope your players who got injured are all okay.

After the League’s AGM on Sunday which confirmed our involvement in Division 2 of the Cornwall Women’s Football league which will consist of 8 different teams all over the county!

We are looking to deepen, develop and bolster our team with the look for promotion in the upcoming season! Whether you’re a young new player looking to compete in Women’s football for the first time, or if you’re an experienced player looking for something different! We want you!
