Update on roadworks south of Patterdale for emergency tree felling. Please note if you are travelling to Glenridding there is a road closure with a diversion in place tomorrow ( Wednesday 27th August) and part of Thursday morning ( Thursday 28 August).

The contractors hope to have the road open on traffic lights by lunchtime on Thursday. The works will be completed by close of play on Thursday 28th August.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

Happy Easter weekend everyone! Not as sunny today as it has been but great weather for walking.

That time of year again, tents and sleeping bags tucked away in the airing cupboard until next season, but lots of pods, self catering, hotels and B&Bs to have a autumn break. The newly managed White Lion Inn are open for B&Bs now too.👍

Anyone misplaced a pair of glasses at the campsite this weekend?? Pair handed in from shower/toilet block.🙂
