I don't normally post anything personal on Facebook let alone on my business page. Yesterday was a collision of different worlds in my life in one day and made me reflect.
A lovely morning with the ever popular Equipe saddles with lovely customers. A rare moment of me time while I was in the area with work, my sons last day in school, exam leave , and off up the motorway for a weekend away with friends, and commitments with a close family member in hospital.
It was one of those days that reminds you how quickly life moves, how many hats we wear, and how important it is to protect time and energy for the people and things that matter most.
I’m incredibly grateful to all of my customers for their continued support, patience and understanding — especially at busy times. Over the coming weeks I’ll also be taking a little time to reassess workload and working practices to make sure I can continue offering the best possible service sustainably long term.
Thank you, as always, for keeping me so busy doing a job I genuinely love.

With the current outbreak of equine influenza sprinting across South Wales, I have taken the decision to temporarily reschedule appointments that would involve multiple yard visits in one day.
As I do not keep horses at home, I am still happy to continue single-yard visits where there are resident horses to see (for example 2–3+ horses at one location). I expect to have a limited number of these appointments available over the coming weeks.
I will continue to review the situation regularly and adjust accordingly. Hopefully this settles as quickly as it has appeared 🤞
I will do my best to contact everybody individually, but please do get in touch if needed — especially if your appointment is urgent.
As always, if your horse is unwell or showing any signs such as a cough, nasal discharge, temperature, or lethargy, please advise me prior to my arrival.
