Congratulations to the first two winners of our Kingsbarns Distillery hole-in-one prizes, with Glynis Read and Kenny Greenshields both achieving recent aces on the 7th hole in competitions. Kenny was on hand to receive his personally engraved bottle, while Glynis will collect hers on return from holiday!

Members not having a hole-in-one can still enjoy the taste of Kingsbarns Distillery whisky (over 18s only) with a special offer from the bar - a 50ml measure for just £5.50, compared to the standard pricing of £5.00 for a 35ml measure of malt whisky. 🏆 Congratulations to Kris Hopkirk who won the Blairgowrie Golf Club Landsdown Open yesterday with an excellent scratch score of 74.

Kris’s two-over par round game him a one-shot victory on one of Scotland’s most prestigious inland courses.

Not quite up there with his dad’s Royal Aberdeen Open victory a few years ago on a similar trip 😉, but a great achievement and another big open win for one of our club members!

🏆| Confirmation of our final Thorburn Cup leaderboard from Saturday, with Mark Blaik coming out on top in a field of 174 players with an excellent net 64.

Congratulations also to Gregor Wells who won the Eugene Turnbull Trophy after his net 70 gave him a very impressive four round aggregate of 276, which was 7 shots clear of the chasing pack 👏🏼

Congratulations to Mark Blaik who is our 2026 Thorburn Cup winner! 🙌🏼

Mark came in among the later finishers to card a superb net 64, beating Keith Brunton - who had led for much of the day - by two shots to land the big one! We hope you enjoyed your celebrations, Mark! 🥂

🏆| Congratulations to our Brown Brothers Peebles Gents Senior Open winners, Gerry Crowe and Colin Fraser!

Gerry carded an excellent net 66 to win the overall handicap event, while Colin showed a timely return to form with a superb level par 70 to clinch the victory overall scratch prize, winning on the better inward half.
