STUARTS V BARNTON STORMS

Aaaaand that’s a wrap for the 2023/24 season!

Stuart’s finished off with a match against Storms. Storms came out strong taking an early lead. After a few adjustments and players really working on their connections though Stuart’s pulled away with a convincing 45 to 36 win.

From our fundraising tournament back in the summer, to all the friendlies, all the sessions and our Sunday matches at the Oriam… thank you to everyone for making this such an enjoyable and rewarding season!

✨ STUARTS V KIRKCALDY ✨

The penultimate game of the season for Stuarts on Sunday and we faced the top of league team, Kirkcaldy. We took an early lead and settled in well in the first quarter but after an injury were left with just 7 players. Unable to convert many of our turnovers, Kirkcaldy took back control in the second half of the match and kept their lead till the final whistle. We wish them well in division 3!

✨ STUARTS V BARNTON TORNADOS ✨

Tonight Stuart’s played a late game against the lovely Barnton Tornados! ❤️

We managed to come away with the win 70-33 😆

Fair player goes to our centre .bruce for being solid in attack and getting some brilliant tips and turnovers. 🫶🏽

✨ STUARTS V DUNEDIN JAGS ✨

Stuart’s faced our rematch game against Dunedin Jaguars on Tuesday. It was a gutsy game with lots of ball contest. Stuart’s came away with the win and well done to for getting opposition fair player for the pressure she put onto their shooters in the circle. Well done Maisie ❤️

✨ STUARTS V DUNEDIN TIGERS ✨

Last night Stuart’s faced Dunedin Tigers for the second time this season. Stuart’s took an early lead but Tigers responded swiftly and held control for the majority of the rest of the match until the final quarter when we dug deep and converted our turnover balls. Nail biting game that ended up in a draw in the dying minutes.

STUARTS v RVDC

Last night Stuart’s played a close match against RVDC. The game started off well and Stuart’s secured a 15-11 lead after the first quarter. Stuart’s continued to lead throughout the game into the last quarter where RVDC managed to almost pull it back. However Stuart’s got the win 40-39!

Massive well done to who won fair player for her great defence work!

Last night Stuart’s had a friendly against Dunedin Jaguars .

✨ Stuart’s v Accie Falcons ✨

Stuart’s faced accies falcons for the second time this season. After a shakey start we settled into our groove nicely and were rewarded with a very convincing win. Credit to Accies though who played some lovely netball. 🎉

Stuart’s v Caledonian Kestrels

So proud of our girls who secured a victory today against top of the table Caledonian kestrels - final score 47 - 36 to Stuart’s!

Outstanding turnovers converted into goals in each quarter with everyone playing composed and skillful netball.

Well deserved fair player went to for exceptional shooting in the circle & for amazing defence work! 🥰

✨ Stuart’s v Dunedin Jaguars ✨

Great match tonight against Dunedin Jaguars. Stuart’s started very strong but a determined Jags brought the game to us with lovely turnovers and conversions to goal. Stuart’s regained composure and fought back maintaining our lead to the final whistle. Looking forward to our rematch with Jaguars later on in the season.

Special mention to for multiple turnovers in defense and to who played WA beautifully throughout deservedly getting our fair player award. 🥇 🎉
