Last week the falcons had their final two matches of the season.
First, they came up against the undefeated Clydesdale fillies, in their Youth cup semi-finals. Despite the scoreline of their last match against this team, the girls were pumped, ready, and gave it their all! The reliance alone is something we as a club are extremely proud of! Sadly, the girls did not win, but the team managed to half the previous score difference which was incredible! The attitude, the play, the commitment, was all amazing to watch!
OPOM: Lindsayπ
CPOM: honestly could not decide as everyone gave it their all! I was so proud of everyone as individuals and as a team π
The Falconsβ second game of the week was against Bridge of Earn in their last CNA match.
This game, the team started a little rocky, and took a little longer to get into their usual flow, but once they did, the win was in the bag.
In attack the team worked the ball up the court, by driving in front and communicating where they wanted the ball. Shooters were on fire with the accuracy! And defensively the girls put on the pressure, that resulted in multiple turnovers.
OPOM: Farrah π
CPOM: Stellaπ for her incredible defence
What an end to the season! Itβs been amazing coaching this squad, like it is every year! The growth is something I always love to witness- as individuals and as a team!
Bring on the 2026/2027 season!!

Peebles Eagles final match of the season was an absolute cracker!
From the first whistle to the last Eagles went goal for goal with Dunfermline 1s. Eagles were determined in defence and calm in attack. They kept their space, drove forward for the ball and kept pressure on the opposition at all times. Eagles played as a team no matter who was on court and only lost in the final couple of minutes when Dunfermline scored from a turnover and then scored off their own CP before the final whistle, the match finishing 43-41 in their favour.
Congratulations to Dunfermline who win division 1!
Stand out players today were Eriska for her movement & shooting and Ada for her speedy drives throughout the court creating space.
CPOM was Carrie who worked tirelessly in defence, keeping up constant pressure and was always available to support in attack.
OPOM - Eriska

This U13s came up against a tough Clydesdale side in a CNA match last Saturday
The girls worked their absolute socks off, right until the last whistle. But It sadly just wasnβt our game to win.
Everyone gave 100%, and tried their best on the day, and that is all we can ask.
It was extremely unfortunate to have had an injury within the first couple of minutes, but the girls who stepped up and played out of position, gave it their all!
We never came away with the win, but there was definitely a lot to take away from it!
OPOM: Linsayπ
CPOM: Farrah π her composure and accuracy in the shooting D was amazing

What a journey! Last Saturday marked the final netball game of the 25/26 season for the Peebles Eagles, as the girls travelled to Dundee to replay their quarter-final clash against the Tayside Jets. The team went into the match with heads held high and a brilliantly positive attitude, giving it their all on court. Although they played some fantastic netball, it just wasnβt to be their day this time. Huge congratulations to the Tayside Jets on your well-deserved win, and best of luck in the semi-final!

The U13s had a cracker of a weekend!
On Saturday they came up against Levenmouth in a CNA match and came away with a confident win.
OPOM: Lindsay π
CPOM: Ada π
Then on Sunday the team came up against, Avon, in the quarterfinals of the Scottish Youth Cup. What started off as a bit of a nail biting game, turned into be a strong WIN. As a collective, the girls worked their socks off in defence to get those all important turnovers. In attack the team really got into their groove by the second half and created some beautiful play up court that converted into those winning goals.
SEMI-FINALS HERE WE COME!!!πππΌ
