MORE THAN JUST A RIDE!

Touro weekend is nearly here, and there’s plenty happening beyond the bike! From post-ride pizza, BBQ, burritos, coffee and cake to expert bike fitting, physio and massage, emergency repairs, demo bikes, cycling advice and more - the Touro event village will be buzzing all weekend.

Plus, there’s a Saturday afternoon social ride with The Bike Fitters - Edinburgh and Lothians, the chance to try out bikes with ProjektRide, chat tyres with Vittoria and meet the teams from Cycle Law Scotland and Peebles Physiotherapy.
And with Peebles Highland games taking place on Saturday too, it’s set to be a brilliant weekend in Peebles! 🎉

This year Tour O The Borders is celebrating the Grand Depart stage of the 2027 Tour de France – the majority of the stage will take the world’s best riders through our superb South Scotland cycling terrain.

We're delighted to be in the event village for the weekend and look out for the Cycle Law colours on the Sunday when members of the team are taking part. 🚴

FUEL WORTH RIDING FOR! 🍰🚴‍♀️

Long climbs, sweeping descents and spectacular scenery are all on the menu at Touro… but let’s be honest, we know some of you are also thinking about the feed stations! 👀

Three of our four feed stations will be serving those legendary warm macaroni pies, while locally made cakes and a selection of products will help keep the pedals turning all the way to the finish line.
And yes… every climb deserves cake!

Get behind the scenes and join the event team for a few hours! If you're travelling here with a rider and want to join the fun (but not on a bike) or if you'd just like to help out, we still need some helpers.

Minimum you’ll get is £35 expenses and the thanks of thousands... Various pay for other specific roles - there’s marshalling, driving, car parking, feed stations and roles in event control we could still do with extra help on. It's an early start for Sunday, but it can be a lot of fun! Saturday help at Wee Touro (no early start!) needed too.

🚴 We are heading to Tour O The Borders

We are delighted that Peebles Physiotherapy will be at this year’s Tour O the Borders in Peebles.

We will be there across the weekend supporting riders before and after the big ride.

SATURDAY
Come and have a free chat with one of our physios about any niggles, injuries or concerns before race day. Taping and strapping will also be available for a small charge.

SUNDAY
Once you’ve crossed the finish line, come and see us for a 10-minute post-race massage for £10 🙌
No booking needed – just come and find our tent on the green!

We are really looking forward to being part of the weekend and supporting everyone taking on Tour O The Borders. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

It’s a relaxed, friendly ride for all abilities - the perfect way for everyone to experience the Touro atmosphere - explore the Borders on two wheels and have some fun along the way.

And if your kids fancy riding the Wee Touro but don’t have a bike, we’ve made it easy to get involved. FREE hire bikes and helmets will be available thanks to Scottish Borders Council, with a range of bikes suitable for riders aged 8 -16 years.
