A spectacular, dominant Quarter-Final showing from the Scot secures a unanimous decision victory against India’s Kapil Pokhariya and a guaranteed medal at the Commonwealth Games.

The 23 year-old will now compete in Friday’s 90kg Heavyweight Semi-Finals against England’s Issac Okoh.

We enter the Quarter-Final stages as the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games reaches Day Five at the SEC Centre.

Three Scots will be in action, with the chance to guarantee a medal on the line in each contest.

Welterweight Caitlin Rainey will be first in the ring against Papua New Guinea this afternoon at approximately 1:15pm.

Then in the evening session Lightweight Niamh Mitchell (6:30pm) and Heavyweight Robert McNulty (9pm) both take on opposition from India.

Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Schedule, Tuesday 28th July;

65kg Welterweight Quarter-Final – Caitlin Rainey (SCO) vs Flora Loga (PNG). Approx 1:15pm.

60kg Lightweight Quarter-Final – Niamh Mitchell (SCO) vs Priya Ghanghas (IND). Approx 6:30pm.

90kg Heavyweight Quarter-Final – Robert McNulty (SCO) vs Kapil Pokhariya (IND). Approx 9pm.

All bouts live on TNT Sports or HBO Max.
