We’re wrapping up our open sessions for coastering and kayaking this weekend and have spaces on a two hour coastal kayak tour and half day coastering Experience on Sunday. With super light winds and warm seas why not take the opportunity to make the most of our Geopark while it’s quiet, sunny and super fun.

UPDATE: BOTH SOLD

We are selling a couple of our used touring paddle boards. These are sandbanks touring boards around 12 feet long 28 inches wide. They track really well and are quite quick good for long distance paddling but also good for rougher water. They come complete with carry bag, pump, leash, paddle and fin. They are in well used but good condition and are fully serviceable, £100 each we have two available. Collection only from Goodrington first come first served

A big thank you to everyone who joined us at Reach Outdoors in South Devon for our Paddle UK Tidal SUP Leader training course this Thursday and Friday.

The Tidal SUP Leader Award is designed to equip leaders with the skills and knowledge to safely lead stand-up paddleboard journeys in tidal environments, within the award’s remit, including areas affected by tidal flow and sheltered coastal areas.

It was a great couple of days on the water, with plenty of practical coaching, navigation, group management and decision-making.

Thanks again to all the participants for their enthusiasm and commitment. We’ll be running more Paddle UK SUP leadership courses in the future, so keep an eye out for upcoming dates.

🎉 11 YEARS AGO TODAY… Ash passed his Sea Kayak Leader assessment! 🛶

Fast forward 11 years and he’s still going strong, delivering courses and assessments including NCC Coasteer Guide award, Sheltered SUP award, Sea Kayak Leader, Coastal Sea Kayak award, Tidal SUP Leader and Coastal SUP Leader.

And when he’s not doing all that, he’s probably the best floor sweeper and bin emptier we’ve got at Reach Outdoors! 😉

No end to this man’s talents! 👏🌊( now all we have to do is show him where the kettle is 😉)
