Monday Motivation β€οΈ
One of the many benefits of our classes for children is helping them develop a growth mindset. At Love Dance, every student is valued for all of their amazing qualities, not just their technical ability. Our students learn that effort and personal growth/improvement are more important than 'talent'.
What's more?
We've learnt that this type of mindset actually leads to better technical results ALL ROUND. When a student learns to persevere when things are challenging, they open themselves up to even more growth.
Students learn skills they never thought possible and most importantly, grow in confidence!

What do we actually do to make our classes inclusive?
Here are just a few of the things we do at Love Dance Academy ‡οΈ
β
Affordable classes & flexible payment options
(We don't want the price to be a barrier to entry).
β
Smaller class sizes
(We value our students over our profitability).
β
No forced uniform
(What a child wears to class can make a huge difference, so we prefer them to be comfy and confident).
β
Inclusive language
(Language is the key to making everyone feel welcome and able).
β
Planning for our ACTUAL students
(Sounds obvious but you'd be surprised! Planning for the actual children we work with means a much more personalised approach for every student).
β
A flexible approach to achieve our learning outcomes
(The journey of learning for each child will be different. We ask "how can I help this child achieve?" And "what does success look like?" for each member of the class).
β
Working with parents
(No judgement, only support. We pick up the phone and actually talk to our parents about how best to support their child).
β
Planning differentiation
(Planning differentiation is non negotiable. We plan for a variety of levels, ages, learning types, body types and more).
β
Always learning more!
(Miss Emily never stops learning. She is always researching and doing her CPD to ensure all practices are of the highest of standards).
WHY is this important?
Simple.
Because dance belongs to everyone and every student can benefit from dance in their own way. β€οΈ

Our last August workshop is THIS SATURDAY 29TH π
Join us one last time for themed dance fun at Alvescot Village Hall!
2-3pm: Age 4-7 will create a Maui themed craft and learn a dance based on the Moana 2 movie. π
3-4.30pm: Age 8-12 will learn multiple routines to songs from K-pop demon hunters. π€
FREE places are available to anyone who might be feeling the stretch of the Summer holidays.
Why do we offer free spaces?
Because we understand that family life (especially in the holidays) can be expensive! While our offerings are of the highest standard, carefully planned by Miss Emily, we never want cost to be a barrier to entry. This is why Love Dance is committed to providing free or pay what you can places as often as possible. π«Ά
