Get Fit. Have Fun. Do Good.

This summer, we’re trying something a little different. Oxford Hawks is hosting a block of four charity fitness sessions in aid of Oxfordshire Mind — the mental health charity that we have partnered with this season.

Here’s the bit that matters: these sessions are for absolutely everyone. We mean that. They’ve been specially designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and - crucially - a lot of fun. Whether you’re a seasoned 1st XI player, a hockey parent who hasn’t broken a sweat since 2019, or a junior member who’s never set foot in a fitness session, you will fit right in. Nobody is going to be the slowest person on the pitch. Nobody is going to feel like all eyes are on them. We promise.

💙 In aid of: Oxfordshire Mind
💰 Cost: Just £3 per session, paid on the night
🏑 Who’s it for: Players, parents, junior members — all ages, all abilities
🏆 Type of fitness: S&C focussed
✅ How to sign up: on Teamo – just let us know you are coming so we can plan

Dates (all sessions are 1 hour):
- Monday 13 July, 8pm (a later start than the other three)
- Monday 20 July, 7pm
- Monday 27 July, 7pm
- Monday 3 August, 7pm

Four sessions. Three pounds each. One very good cause.

Massive thank you to who came along to Hawks to deliver important training to 20 of our Coaches, Managers & Young Leaders!

Junior Hawks player Holly Cole, together with her mum, Hannah and dad, David, who many of you will know from junior coaching will be taking part in Blenheim Triathlon at the weekend. Holly will be undertaking the swim, bike, run event to raise money for the charity ‘Thinking of Oscar’ named after Holly’s brother who died when Holly was three and a half. Wishing you the very best of luck Holly from all of us at Oxford Hawks! We can’t wait to hear how you get on! See below for Holly’s Just Giving link and more information on the charity ‘Thinking of Oscar’.

💛💙 This year’s Blenheim Palace Triathlon is another special one.......🏊🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏅

On 6–7 June, our founders Hannah Cole and David Cole will once again be taking part in the Blenheim Palace Triathlon to raise money for Thinking of Oscar.

This year, for the first time, their daughter Holly (15) will be joining them.

Holly was three and a half when Oscar died in 2014 and has grown up alongside the charity ever since.

Over the years, more than 200 people have taken part in the Blenheim Palace Triathlon for Thinking of Oscar, raising over £400,000 to support projects that improve the experiences of children and families in hospital care.

That support has helped fund projects including vein finder technology, distraction and play technologies, simulation and training programmes for clinicians, and digital tools to improve communication and support for families.

We're also working on a number of new initiatives to raise awareness and funding for children's health, while continuing to support children and families during their time in hospital.

A huge thank you to everyone who has taken part, donated, volunteered or stood on the sidelines cheering us on over the years.

If you'd like to support us this year, we'd be very grateful.

Thank you 💛💙
