Our new identity has been inspired by Oxford Brookes heritage, the city of Oxford and the future direction of sport and active wellness at the University.
This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, with further updates and developments continuing throughout the summer ahead of the new academic year.

We were honoured to celebrate the life and legacy of Keith Kelly, our former Director of Sport, with a memorable gathering on campus last Saturday.
Keith, who tragically passed away in April after a period of illness, served as our Director of Sport for over 15 years. He dedicated himself to the transformation and advancement of sport at Oxford Brookes.
We were joined by Keith’s wife Jess, daughter Maya, son Lucas and mother Paula, while we reflected on his lasting impact and shared wonderful memories. ❤️️
Our inspirational Olympic and Paralympic rowing athletes from Paris 2024 were also at the event, and in a special tribute, new boats were named after each of them.🚣
