Now we all know football is life! ⚽️🟣
But our U11 purples have broken up from school and hit a massive milestone of finishing primary school!
What better way to celebrate than on an inflatable obstacle course on a lake in the sun! ☀️
With a few siblings in the mix the boys had a great day!

Well that’s a wrap for the Wheatley purples U11’s 25/26 tournament season with a plate win at Grove challengers tournament🏆
The boys started off slow with a few drawn group games but working together we managed to keep ourselves in it securing a mid table place to be in the running for a go at the plate!
The whole team worked hard through the 1/4 finals and semi final, making sure we made it all the way to the final. Up against some great teams.
The final was a great battle between the two with Wheatley scoring first unfortunately we conceded with limited time to go, it was now down to the golden goal! ⚽️ The boys dug deep securing a win!
What a way to end our season!

The team had a fantastic morning at the Cold Ash Tournament, facing a whole group of teams we’d never played before.
It was an incredibly hot day, but a great tournament overall. To top it off, they came home with a trophy win! 🏆
That brings the 25/26 season to a close, and we couldn’t be prouder of every single player. The progress they’ve made this season has been incredible.
Now it’s time for a well-earned month off before we return refreshed and ready for our next adventure as U9s.
Thank you to all our players, parents and supporters for another brilliant season.

🏆 CUP WINNERS! 🏆
Our U8s headed over to the Aston FC Festival this weekend, and what a fantastic event it was! The pitches, atmosphere, and overall organisation were superb.
It was an early morning start - something this team seems to thrive on! With a straight six, no subs, and an outstanding attitude throughout the day, the boys showed incredible determination from start to finish.
The group stages were competitive, exciting, and gave us the chance to face several new teams we’d never played. Before we knew it, we were into the final against a strong opponent.
Between the show stopping saves and an incredible goal - Today was our day! Cup Winners 🏆
An incredible achievement from a group that gave everything for each other, we couldn't be prouder of them.

This weekend we celebrated our End of Season Presentation on home ground, surrounded by family, friends, and other Wheatley FC teams.
We enjoyed fantastic weather, great company, and a tower of Domino's pizzas to round off what has been a brilliant season.
We're ending the 2025/26 season on a real high and are incredibly proud of everything the team has achieved this year. A special shout-out goes to our end of season award winners:
