A huge well done to all of our skaters who hit the ice for this week’s JIDC pattern dance competition. ⛸️🏅

The Canasta Tango, Festival ChaCha and the ‘22 Step’ were all skated brilliantly. Itwas lovely to see them get all dressed up and sparkle! 💃🏻🤵

We were very lucky to have two professional judges - Fiona and Sue. They were joined by one of JIDC’s former members, Jack Hammond, who represents GBR internationally in couples ice dance. 📋🇬🇧

A big thanks to all the coaches, judges and parent helpers who made the event possible. Great to see family and friends lend their support too. 👏

To find out more, visit our stand at the Oxford Ice Rink Big Skate Weekend (Sat 6th and Sun 7th June) 11am to 3.45pm, or drop us a message.

As part of the Mini Ice Show (2.30-3.30pm on both days at the Big Skate Weekend), you can watch some of our competitive skaters performing their solo free dance programmes. Our club ice dancers will also be demonstrating various pattern dances - the Canasta Tango, the Festival ChaCha and the 14 Step. Entry to the ice show is free.
