Another race, another shiny medal, a colourful ankle and a pretty nice podium finish!

Hever Castle 10K what a race! 🏰

Went into this one with the goal of having a nice, conversational run, enjoying the views and simply finishing. Well… that plan went slightly out the window! 😂

Somehow ended up 3rd female overall and 1st in my age group, not bad considering I managed to be clumsy halfway round and sprain my ankle! 🙈

Definitely not quite the race I had planned, but one I’ll certainly remember. Beautiful course, great atmosphere and a very shiny medal to show for it!

Now to give this colourful ankle some TLC!

Massive well done to Kat on completing her HYROX in Rome! 🔥🇮🇹

This was a tough one, especially battling the heat, but you didn’t let that stop you! You had one goal in mind, to finish and you absolutely smashed it!

All the hard work, training and dedication you’ve been putting in pays off and you should be so proud of yourself just like I am of you 🤩

Next stop London!

Well done Kat Davis

Tough Mudder, you were a blast! Maybe not the wasps.

We signed up for mud and got a full on dust bath instead. More “Tough Duster” than Tough Mudder but we still powered through and laughed the whole way.

Sorry Poppy for turning full on personal trainer midway. “Come on!, another quick blast!” 😂🙊

What a day!

We did it. 💪 Team FWH Hustlers 🤩

Our first event together as a team, taking on the Red Bull Gym Clash National Qualifier and what an experience it was.

3 Challenging rounds
Strength - 3RM Barbell Back Squat
Endurance - 20 minute AMRAP Row/Synchro Sn**ch/ Synchro Thrusters/ Synchro down ups
Skill - Descending ladder Skipping/ Synchro box jumps 🤢

Out of 9 incredible teams, we finished 5th. For our very first competition together, I’d say that’s something to be proud of.

We learned, we pushed each other, and we proved what we’re capable of. This is only the beginning. 👊🔥

Rimini HYROX 🇮🇹☀️

First HYROX abroad. Mixed Doubles with my other half
A massive and very unexpected PB!

Functioning legs at the finish line… debatable. 🤣

Not going to lie, it was HARD. At several points I questioned my life choices and whether my legs or lungs were the first on planning an early exit.

But somehow we got it done, I didn’t murder him and crossed the finish line with a huge PB. The finish was a little more emotional than expected 🙈 probably a combination of relief, exhaustion, and the fact that I genuinely wasn’t sure I’d make it to the end!

A pretty special weekend, an amazing atmosphere, and a race I’ll never forget!

Now excuse me while I spend the next few days getting my legs to work 😂

Another race, another medal to add to the collection 🏃🏻‍♀️

Just 2 weeks ago I sprained my calf doing something we do multiple times a day, taking my shoes off 😂 and I didn’t think this run was going to happen. But here we are, after plenty of rest and being carful I did it! A bit different to my normal runs. 7km Maverick trail run in the Cotswolds with lots of hills 🥵

Next stop HYROX Rimini

50 people. 50 HYROX challenges. One incredible cause sobell.house💜

On 28 June, we’re taking on our “50 for 50” HYROX fundraiser at Fitness & Wellbeing Hub to raise money for Sobell House — a charity that means a lot to me and my family after the care they gave my Nan, Annie.

Whether you’re a seasoned HYROX athlete, regular gym-goer, or just fancy being part of something positive, we’d love you to join us. Expect teamwork, atmosphere, encouragement and probably a bit of suffering too. 😅

Come help us hit 50 people, 50 challenges and £500+ for an amazing local charity. 🙌

What a race and I’ve got my partner back! 🥰

Cardiff HYROX women’s doubles with the best partner I could ever ask for.

13 months ago, you dropped the bombshell that I’d be taking all the burpees in Glasgow while you powered through morning sickness (still can’t believe they became my favourite 😅). Fast forward to now, 6 months post-partum, a complete life shift, and you’re out there running your strongest runs yet.

I’m so proud of you. You didn’t stop once, and it felt incredible to be back out there together. Sorry I ran off on the farmers and made you chase after me 🙊 but….We did it !

Lots more exciting and different races to look forward to this year including DEKA STRONG and ATHX
