Introducing our new Player Coach… Chuckie Ramsay.

A vice captain at Ilkley for many years, Chuckie brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and professionalism to the club. Calm under pressure and never rattled, “The Iceman” has seen it all promotions, relegations, and everything in between while setting the standard every step of the way.

He’s a stoic leader who knows exactly when to keep the lads in check, and on the field his hands are pure class, able to thread a ball through the eye of a needle. His trademark “slow and go” (despite what some people called it!) has left plenty of defenders standing.

As for the kicking… we’ll just say those chicken legs were built for everything except booming clearances.

Off the pitch, he’s just as impressive, with the ability to put away a few well earned pints after the final whistle.

We’re delighted to welcome Chuckie as our new Player Coach. A top bloke, a proven leader, and someone who’ll be a huge asset to everyone at the club 🔵⚪️
