2 years full time coaching.

It’s hard to put into words what the last two years have meant to me.

I’ve learned more about coaching, training, people and myself than I ever expected to. I’ve learned how to communicate better, listen more, be patient and adapt.

Becoming a better coach has also meant learning more about myself. What I’m good at, what I need to improve and how I can keep pushing myself to get better.

A huge part of that journey has been Shark Tank Training and the opportunity Dan gave me two years ago. He’s challenged me, backed me, trusted me and pushed me to become a better coach and person.

I’m incredibly grateful for the Shark Tank community too. Watching people turn up week after week, get stronger, fitter and more confident, and achieve things they once thought they couldn’t is what makes this job so rewarding.

The gym has grown massively over the last two years, but I feel like I’ve grown alongside it.

I’m proud of the coach I’ve become, but even more excited about how much I can still learn and improve.

2 years full time. Still learning. Still growing. Still coaching.

First attempt at TTB compared to now.

Barely any to a set of 14 reps ub

Very happy with the progress made so far but looking forward to what I can make more gains or progressions on 👀

This just shows even if you are sh*t at the start put in the effort and the reps and you might just make some form of progress….

Just under a year between these two… and a completely different mindset.

During this time I leaned out massively, probably the leanest I’ve been, and even took on the 4x4x48. I was fit and I was moving well. But the downside to this my strength wasn’t where I knew it could be, and a lot of that came down to how much running I was doing at the time.

Fast forward to the tail end of ‘25 and into ‘26, I made a shift.

I doubled down on my strength work. Started committing properly to the process. Not just training, but actually locking in on training, nutrition, and recovery as a full package. Now I’m starting to layer in more skill work on top of that.

And the difference?

I feel like the strongest and fittest I have been in a long time.

The biggest change hasn’t just been physical though, it’s been mental.

I’ve flipped my mindset. I’m not training based on how I feel day to day anymore. I’m trusting the plan, leaning into the process, and showing up regardless.

Just consistency.

Because at the end of the day, the rewards are in the work.

Still building. Still learning. But moving in the right direction.
