Although the main game is off due to the standing water on the square, there will be a bowl-out on the Astro tonight, starting at around 6:15pm! 🎯🏏

The bar will still be open, so come down, support the players, raise a glass to Rob and help us make the most of the evening.

We are sad to announce that tonight’s Rob Jones Foundation Charity Match has been cancelled due to standing water on the square.

Unfortunately, the weather has beaten us and the game simply isn’t possible this evening.

The club will still be open tonight, and we hope to see as many of you down there as possible to raise a glass to Rob and remember what the RJF is all about.

Then on Bank Holiday Monday, we're back at the club for our Family Fun Day, organised jointly with St Mary's School & Greenfield Cricket Club.

🏏 Junior Girls Tournament at Greenfield! 💚🩷

On Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic Junior Girls Tournament here at Greenfield Cricket Club.

As well as two Greenfield teams, we were delighted to welcome girls representing Micklehurst, Glodwick, Stayley, Woodhouses, Shaw and Middleton.

It was brilliant to see so many young girls enjoying their cricket, making new friends and representing their clubs. The talent, enthusiasm and smiles on show made it a fantastic day — and it certainly bodes well for the future of women’s cricket across all of these clubs! 👏🏏

A huge thank you to P. Mullaney & Sons Ltd for sponsoring the medals 🏅 and to Councillor Helen Bishop for her support of GCC girls’ team.

And finally, a massive thank you to all of our volunteers who gave up their time and helped make the day such a success. These events simply wouldn’t happen without you. 💙

Well done to all the girls — we hope to see many more of you representing your clubs in the years to come! 🌟
