Week 3 – Late Summer League

Touch under an eclipse! 🌑🔥

Another night of close games, with three of the four fixtures decided by just one or two tries.

🔥 Shanked move to the top with an 8-6 win over Bowdon Moles.

🔥 Manchester Spartans edged TOA 6-5 before Merryatrics snatched an 8-7 win over Spartans.

🔥 Old Bedians picked up a valuable 7-4 victory over TOA.

🏆 That’s a wrap on the 2026 Manchester Summer Touch League! 🏉

Nine weeks of league action followed by one EPIC Finals Night.

Congratulations to ONEsixONE, who capped off an outstanding season with a commanding 9-2 victory over Mamucium Vulpus to be crowned 2026 Summer League Champions. 🥇🏆

While the Grand Final belonged to ONEsixONE, the rest of the evening couldn’t have been much closer. Five of the six finals were decided by just a single try, with one going to drop-off (3v3) showcasing just how competitive this league has been from start to finish.

Old Bedians even took their first win of the season, when it mattered to move up the table in the final week.

Great to facilitate games between Wales Touch Association Men’s 40s Vs England Touch M45s at Cheltenham Rugby club recently.

England took the first game 8-7 and Wales came back strong to win 7-4 in the second.

Both teams played some excellent Touch, and took some learnings on their journey to the European Championships this summer, in Vichy.
