In this new series, we'll be taking a look back at some incredible Atlantis history between 1992 and the present!

Did you know - Atlantis Leisure was and STILL is a community run charity, starting initially as a swimming pool facility back in 1992? With clear demand and support from the community, this grew into the larger facility we know today, complete with a community funded play-park outside.

This shot from 1997 shows the construction process of the structure that many of us see everyday, and is a reminder of how far we've come!

💙 Learn to Swim Month is here!

September 1st marks the start of across Scotland, celebrating the life skill of swimming and the opportunities it creates for people of all ages 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The National Learn to Swim Framework, a partnership between Scottish Swimming and Scottish Water, is delivered by 38 Leisure Trusts and Aquatic Providers across the country 📈

Those providers deliver lessons to over 88,000 children and adults each week, to building confidence to stay safe in and around water, and enjoy being active 🛟

Archery has been cancelled on Friday 28th August & Friday 4th September.

Lorn Healthy Options Healthy Options is an innovative, community-run charity based in Oban, Argyll, Scotland working with people who have, or are at risk of developing, life-long health conditions in partnership with the NHS, local health services and third sector organisations.

Mini movers was extremely quiet last week and with the forecast tomorrow, we predict the same happening. Rather than cancel, we are going to move to the under 5's Playpark. This won't be your usual session, but we will take some extra Mini Movers things out and our coaches will be there to hear your thoughts on Mini Movers and it's future.
Mini movers has been an institution in it's self at Atlantis, but with the increase in funded nursery hours it has had to go through many changes and we need to find a way to keep it feasible. What would you like to see? What would entice you to bring your children? Should we run it as a bookable block or is drop in better? What stops you coming? Is it the day/time that would be more suitable?
