Today marks the start of another grouse season but it represents much more than days in the field.

Behind it are families, gamekeepers, rural communities and local businesses; year-round work supporting conservation, habitat management, wildlife, employment and the next generation of countryside skills.

💥LOCHNELL SHOOTING CLUB | 2026 SEASON💥

Following a fantastic season last year, we are pleased to open membership of Lochnell Shooting Club for the season ahead.
Set on Scotland’s west coast, just outside Oban, the club offers members the opportunity to enjoy driven game shooting across Lochnell Estate in a relaxed and sociable setting.
The club welcomes both experienced shots and those looking to take their first steps into driven game shooting, with an emphasis on good sport, good company and responsible shooting.
This year also marks a particularly special season at Lochnell, following the Estate being named Best Sporting Estate 2026 at the Scottish Country Sports Tourism Awards.
A limited number of memberships are available for the coming season.
