Seil to Connel Downwinder 30km Wing Foiling Downwinder on the West Coast of Scotland

First DW SUP attempt after a bit of flatwater and small bump paddle up training. Run was a success with almost all of it completed on foil without too many mistakes. Looking forward to the big winds returning next month when we get Gorge like conditions every week! Such a cool time to be here at the start of this sport and see the evolution of equipment.

   

Calm before the storm... One of our most regular downwinder runs takes us between this castle and the mountains behind, just an epic location to ride.

     

Be hard to find a more authentic Scottish scene for the start of a downwinder: Castle ruins, tallship, green grass and grey skies 🙂

In Oct 2022 we embarked on an ambitious project to charter a Tall Ship and take a bunch of Wing Foilers on a downwinder focused expedition amongst the stunning wild Hebridean Islands. Due to the overwhelming success of this trip we will be running further expeditions in 2023. Dates will be released soon!
