Louis Addleton, a true club stalwart, re‑signs for Nuneaton Rugby Club, continuing his long‑standing commitment to the badge and the standards that define our environment.

A player whose leadership, experience and consistency have been central to the squad for years, 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 as we continue shaping a united, competitive group for 2026/27.

We’re delighted to welcome Rhys Maloret to Nuneaton Rugby Club.
A powerful tight‑head prop, Rhys joins from Northampton Old Scouts and arrives on a placement year supported by our sponsors CTT Private Client and Bob Massey, Director, former Nuns player and Captain.

Rhys has also represented Cardiff University and was part of the East Midlands U20 squad that won the County Championship last season.

As we wait for confirmation of our preseason games due to the delayed start of the season the players continue to put in hard work to prepare for the new season.

Over the last couple of weeks they have been to Hartshill Hays for a change of venue and scenery as well as working hard at the club ⛰️ 🏃‍♂️

After careful consideration and consultation with clubs across England, the RFU has decided to delay the start of the competitive community game season until the week commencing Monday 21 September.
