Park Hive desperately needs storage space for our outdoor tools! If you are thinking of getting rid of a shed or storage box please let us know!

Dr Ali Noaman of Clinica Vitalis will be hosting an afternoon of talks and events related to the sun and skin care at Park Hive on Sunday 6th September. There will be a short expert talk, followed by the opportunity for a complimentary facial skin analysis using advanced imaging. Children can learn about the sun while making jewellery with UV-sensitive beads. All attendees will receive a goodie bag!

The fairies are waiting for their new homes!

Another glorious August day! Why not pop down to the Tea House at Park Hive between 2 pm and 5 pm for a drink and a chat? As usual, we will have a selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes and iced lollies.

We have had several new toys donated for the children to play with, including a Brio train set - we would love some more straight sections. Our book exchange is also growing so do take a look (and a book or two).

We would love to develop a fairy kingdom, and have lots of material to work with. All we need now are your ideas....

The park Hive tea house will be open today and tomorrow from two until 5 pm serving our usual selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes, ice creams et cetera.

This weekend we would love to make some progress on our fairy kingdom. We want to transform this cable reel into an eco-fairy house… We have the materials now we need your ideas! 

We have been given some lovely Brio train pieces by Peter Speakman, and have lots of curved sections but very few straight pieces. If you have any extras at home we would be most grateful for them - I’m sure the kids will have a great time constructing layouts!

Don’t forget the Park Hive Tea House is open today from 2 till 5 pm for hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice cream!

Lots of room on our open space for the kids to run around while parents relax on our shady Terrace.

As usual, we will be collecting egg boxes and lids for the Gedling Play forum and unused toiletries for the Women’s Centre.

We are still collecting plastic milk bottle tops and egg cartons for Gedling Play Forum, as well as spare unopened toiletries for the Women's Centre - Lindsay Kelly will once again have some of her crocheted gifts available for sale, with proceeds going to the Womens Centre.

Our Book Exchange selection continues to grow, so if you need something to read for your holiday please take a look.
