We are delighted to welcome Craig Danby as our third Vice Chair, joining our existing Vice Chairs, Mandy and Mark.

Craig brings extensive business knowledge to the club and has been instrumental in securing new equipment and generating vital fundraising revenue. His strong connections with local businesses have already opened new doors for partnership, sponsorship, and long‑term investment in our club.

Craig has also worked closely with Enterprise Ashfield, whose support has been invaluable in helping us secure the club’s future. This collaboration is strengthening our financial stability, improving our facilities, and ensuring we can continue to grow sustainably.

Alongside his professional expertise, Craig coaches his youngest son’s rugby team, giving him a rich bank of practical insight and community perspective. His combined experience, business leadership, community partnerships, and hands‑on coaching, will further strengthen our club and help us thrive for years to come.

Rob’s journey through Ashfield, from his earliest years in the club to becoming a senior leader, reflects everything we stand for: development, dedication, and pride in the jersey. His natural leadership and strong sense of camaraderie have made him a cornerstone of our club, and his influence has been key in shaping the positive ethos we continue to build.

We look forward to the direction, passion, and unity Rob will bring to the team this season.

☀️ SCRUMFEST 2026 ☀️

The Ashfield Ladies rugby team traded their usual match kit for absolute madness at the annual charity fancy dress match, played for the first time at SCRUMFEST, it was a roaring success! 🦁
The theme was animals 😂
From questionable running techniques in oversized costumes to some seriously impressive tries , the energy was unmatched.
We proved that you can absolutely smash a game while wearing a tutu and much more !!
Best of all? Together, we raised an incredible £470 for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research! A massive thank you to everyone who padded up, cheered from the sidelines, and dug deep into their pockets.
