A Friday night that was about more than basketball. 💜🌍
As part of our Forever Forward Tournament, we hosted the 💖YOU GOT THIS GiRL 4Hoops 4Her Women in Sport Networking Event at BOX Nottingham.🏀
For myself and Brahe, it was important that the girls experienced something beyond competing on the court.
With young female athletes travelling from different countries around the globe, we wanted to create a space where they could step away from basketball, connect with one another, share experiences, build relationships and learn together.
Competition brings us together on the court, but connection can take us much further.
And that matters too.
We were so grateful to have Gemma, The Confidence Coach, speak to our girls about confidence on and off the court, self-worth and understanding that your value is bigger than your performance. 🫶🏽
Because confidence isn’t just making the shot.
It’s how you respond when you miss.
It’s how you speak to yourself.
It’s knowing your worth.
It’s having the courage to use your voice and be yourself.
A huge thank you to Gemma for pouring into our young female athletes, and to BOX Nottingham for giving us the space to build, connect and bring people together. 🤍
