Rhythm Nation Studios is a local to Sherwood Dance Studio for children and adults. Children from 3+ will have the opportunity to train in Tap, Ballet, Contemporary Jazz, Musical Theatre, Street, and Acro. Pupils of all ages can take exams under IDTA/Acrobatic Arts Syllabus and are given local performance opportunities in fetes and theatres. Everything with us is optional, so you can choose how muc

Last in our what’s on today timetable series, Thursdays - our Ballet and Tap night!
We can get your dancer from Preparatory > Grade 5 on the same night!
That’s 7 grades! 💪🏻🎭🤩💃 (though exams are ofcourse optional, dancers can still move up through the levels without taking the exams, if they aren’t your thing!)

Wednesdays = Jazz and Acro night!
For our Acro classes, we honour the dance element of this class by requesting all dancers that take Acro must take ballet or Jazz alongside it.
A beautiful dance isn’t a series of tricks, it’s cleverly inserted tricks to enhance the story telling.
We schedule them back to back so pupils can take both easily on the same night.

What’s happening on Saturdays at RNS?
Here’s our full timetable and improvements and reminders below!
Improvements > 15 min gap between preschool classes to enable children to have a little break and take 2 classes - parents can wait and watch in the viewing area with a hit of caffeine (needed) haha
> Our chaperone group continues to run to enable parents of juniors 5+ to drop off and collect, or get some work done in our cafe area uninterrupted. Example: Child takes ballet tap and Acro, parent drops off at 10:30am collects at 12:45pm - no charge for the chaperone group - just a helpful thing we’ve added for busy parents! 💃🎭🤩⭐️
