Barton in Fabis Equestrian Centre

Something very exciting has arrived at Barton in Fabis Equestrian Centre! 🏇🌿

This morning we were offered an opportunity that we simply couldn’t miss — the chance to purchase some of the cross-country jumps from a purpose built (huge!) XC course that was sadly closing its doors. So off we went…. four people, two cars and two trailers to purchase as many as we could possibly fit!

These are fantastic quality, solid, purpose-built 14 cross-country fences, made by the same people who build the XC fences for the Burghley Horse Trials — so when the opportunity came up, we just couldn’t resist! 🤩

We’re absolutely thrilled to be bringing them to Barton in Fabis Equestrian Centre for our liveries to enjoy. We’re always looking for ways to improve the facilities and give our horses and riders more opportunities to train, have fun and experience something a little different.

We can’t wait to get them set up and see everyone enjoying them! 🐎❤️

🌞 What a fantastic day at Barton in Fabis Equestrian Centre yesterday 🐴

Yesterday we were delighted to host the Amber Valley Riders Ride, and what a day it was!

An incredible 123 riders joined us to enjoy the beautiful countryside, fantastic routes and glorious weather. It was wonderful to see so many happy horses and smiling faces throughout the day.

A huge thank you to Amber Valley Riders for choosing Barton in Fabis Equestrian Centre as the venue, to all of the riders who supported the event, and to everyone who volunteered and worked behind the scenes to make the day run so smoothly. Events like these simply wouldn’t be possible without you all.

We hope everyone had a brilliant time and made some wonderful memories. Thank you all for making it such a successful event – we look forward to welcoming you back to Barton in Fabis Equestrian Centre again soon! 🐴💜

🐴 Quarterly Weighbridge Day at the yard today! ⚖️

A big thank you to Nikki Meggison, Independent Equine Nutritionist, for another fantastic weighbridge visit to the yard today.

Regular weighbridge sessions are a brilliant way to accurately monitor your horse’s weight, track changes over time, and make informed decisions about feeding, worming dosages and general management.

We look forward to welcoming Nikki back for our next quarterly visit! 😊

🦷🐴 Dental day at Barton in Fabis Equestrian Centre!

A big thank you to Heather Urquhart for another fantastic 6-monthly dental visit. 2 days of appointments and 23 horses seen, It’s always great to know our precious horses are in such good hands.

• Enclosed 12 acre hill field to ride around in addition to the miles of off road hacking
