Another brilliant day at camp today! 🙌 It was fantastic to see some new faces joining us, and we’re already looking forward to our October Half Term Camp! 🍂⚽

🔥 STREET STRIKER COMPETITION 🔥

Today we mixed things up with our very own Street Striker competition! The players took on a range of fun challenges, including:

🎯 Chipping over road barriers
🗑️ Lobbing the ball into bins
🏀 Chipping into baskets
🥅 Shooting through gate gaps
🧱 rebounding off walls into goals

Something a little different,and it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone! 😍👏

We then held our very own FIFA Club World Cup! 🌍⚽

Forest 🔴 made it all the way to the final against Real Madrid ⚪ and after a tense game, it was decided by a penalty shootout! 😱⚽

Summer Holiday Camp 2 – Day 1⚽

Another fantastic turnout today! 🙌

We kicked off with our team building games followed by Fastest Dribbler Competition, taking on a range of different dribbling challenges. We then moved on to our Keepy-Up Challenges, with a variety of skills and keepy-up tasks, followed by an exciting tournament this afternoon.

Reuben was fantastic today, showing great leadership and setting an excellent example for everyone. A brilliant attitude throughout! 👏

🌳 ❤️⚽ ZE Football Coaching at Nottingham Forest! ⚽❤️ 🌳

Today we took 40 people, players and their families to Nottingham Forest’s final pre-season game. 🙌

For some of our group, it was extra special as it was their first ever football match! 🥹⚽

A huge thank you to Nottingham Forest and YEL for providing the tickets and helping make such a fantastic experience possible. 👏

And the excitement didn’t stop at the final whistle… 😂

On their way home, Harley and Betty were even lucky enough to bump into Ola Aina at the petrol station! 🤩

We all had an absolutely brilliant time, and it was fantastic to see so many of our ZE Football Coaching family enjoying the day together.

⚽️ SUN U13 FRIENDLY ⚽️

What a game! 👏🔥

A fantastic start from the boys and girls. We kept the ball well, moved it sharply and created some early chances. We looked really up for it and deservedly found ourselves 2-0 up, with Lona confidently slotting away both goals. 🎯⚽️

The opposition pulled one back to make it 2-1 after we switched off, but that only seemed to kick us into another gear! 💪 We created more chances, showed great composure and got our third through Lona to complete her hat-trick. ⚽️⚽️⚽️

We then added two more excellent goals through Henry and Sam, both finishing confidently to make it 5-1. 🔥👏

But suddenly the opposition turned the game on its head. They battled hard, stopped us playing our usual game and cut out our link-up combinations. We didn’t play poorly, but we stopped doing the basics, made the wrong choices at times and tried to do too much.

Fair play to the opposition 👏 They showed great character and fought their way back to level the scores. A disappointing second half after being so firmly in control, but an important learning experience for everyone . 💭⚽️

We also had a goal ruled out for offside and missed a penalty. We would have been the difference.

Plenty of positives to take from competing against a side who will be playing in a higher division next season, but equally plenty for us to work on. 💪🔴⚽️

Played in an unfamiliar position at times today and really stood out. Created chances from right-back, made excellent overlapping runs, delivered dangerous crosses, provided an assist and capped it off with a goal. 👏🔥

A great effort and plenty to build on! 💪⚽️❤️
