As another Quarrydale United Summer Tournament comes to a close, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped make the last three weekends so special.

Thank you to every team, player, coach and parent who has visited us. Your support, sportsmanship and enthusiasm have created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the tournament, with hundreds of young players making memories, scoring goals, making friends and enjoying the game we all love. ❤️⚽️

Grassroots football is built on community, and over the past three weekends we’ve seen exactly what makes it so special.

A special thank you must also go to our referees, who have done an excellent job throughout the tournament, helping ensure every game was played in the right spirit.

Most importantly, we’d like to recognise our incredible volunteers. The people behind the scenes who arrive first, leave last, and somehow make everything happen.

From marking pitches and cutting grass, to moving goals, setting up respect lines, organising stock runs, preparing food and drinks, and keeping the tournament running smoothly from the first whistle to the last, their work often goes unseen.

They give up their weekends, their time and their energy purely for the benefit of the players, the club and the local community. Without them, events like this simply would not be possible.

You are the heart of Quarrydale United, and we cannot thank you enough. 🔴🔵
