Back with Monday Motivation today with Watko in the studio, trying to motivate Mansfield and beyond! 🫶🏽✨🩷

Today we were talking about SELF WORTH.

How you speak to yourself matters.
Who you surround yourself with matters.
The boundaries you set matter.

Sometimes improving your self worth isn’t about changing who you are… it’s about finally recognising what you deserve. 🩷

So my question for you this week is…

What ONE thing could you do this week to improve your self worth?

Mine is to be more protective of my time and energy ✨

Tell me yours below 👇🏼🩷

Little favour please 😂💗

I’ve just realised Pretty Heavy Lifters has hardly any Google reviews… after all these years as well 🤣

So if you’ve ever trained with us, been to one of our events or just experienced PHL in any way, I’d absolutely love it if you could leave us a little review ⭐️

It really helps other women find us and gives them an idea of what we’re all about before they come through the door 💪🏼💗

Thank you so much!

Pretty Heavy Lifters would love your feedback Post a review to our profile on Google

The doctors told me I’d never be the same again.🥲🥲

After snapping my Achilles, there was a point where I thought maybe that was it. Maybe sport was done for me. Maybe I’d just have to accept that my body couldn’t do what it used to do.

But I didn’t want that to be the end of my story… So I started small. Rehab, strength work, patience, learning to trust my body again and gradually building myself back up safely and sensibly.🙏🏽

It wasn’t quick and it definitely wasn’t always easy. Blood sweat and tears went into recovery!!

I’ve snapped my Achilles, broken ankles, torn shoulders and had a couple of mental breakdowns along the way too. I’ve had plenty of reasons to think “I can’t do this anymore.” So trust me when I say I UNDERSTAND how you feel!

BUT.. every single time, I’ve found a way forward.🙌

Now I play netball 3+ times a week, train Strong Woman, lift heavy, run, jump and do things I was once told I might never do again.

And this post isn’t really about me.👀👀 It’s for the woman who has already decided she can’t.

The woman who thinks she’s too injured. Too unfit. Too old. Too far gone. The woman who has been through something and thinks she’ll never feel like herself again.

You CAN overcome things!!💪🏻

It might look different. It might take longer than you’d like. You might have to adapt, rebuild and start from a much smaller place than you imagined. But that doesn’t mean you’re finished.

I’ve trained women over the years with all sorts of injuries, health conditions and limitations, and I’ve watched them become stronger, fitter and more confident through safe, effective training.💪🏻

So please don’t write yourself off.

You are capable of so much more than you think. 🩷🙏🏽✨

What is one good habit that you need to add into your life to reach your goals!? ☺️✨

3 pieces of fitness advice I’d give to anyone 🩷

Things I’ve learnt from years of training, coaching women and probably making every mistake going 😂

Fitness doesn’t need to take over your life to change your life.

These 3 things might sound simple, but getting the basics right consistently will take you a lot further than constantly looking for the next quick fix.

Which one did you need to hear today? 👀💪🏼

Ever wondered what goes on inside the mind of one of our longest standing members? 👀😂

Last week, I sat down with the amazing Bronya for a little interview packed with laughs, quick-fire questions, and a few unexpected answers along the way!🩷😂

She’s been part of our community for years and is an absolute superstar, PHL isn’t the same without her!! It was great to put her in the hot seat and hear what she has to say about all things PHL. ⭐️💖

Watch until the end and see if your name gets a mention, ladies… you might be surprised! 😂👇

We’ve got something new… 🩷

From this week, we’ve added a second 9:30am session to the timetable!

✨ Mondays - 9:30am
✨ Wednesdays - 9:30am

I know evenings don’t work for everyone, so if you’ve been looking for a daytime class, you’ve now got two chances every week.

Whether you’re self-employed, work shifts, the kids are at school, or you’ve finally decided it’s time to do something for yourself, we’d love to have you.

Come and train with a brilliant group of women, have a laugh, work hard, and leave feeling better than when you walked in.

Message me if you’d like to come and give it a try. 🩷
