FREE Weekly Planner โ€“ Stay on Track This Summer! โ˜€๏ธ

School holidays, work, appointments, family commitments... sometimes life gets busy and it's easy for healthy habits to slip down the priority list.

One thing our Sport and Wellbeing Academy team finds really helpful is taking just 10 minutes each week to plan ahead. Scheduling exercise, meals, walks, family activities and even some well-earned downtime can make a huge difference.

So, we thought we'd share the weekly planner we use with you! ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“ Print it out, pop it on the fridge, or keep it on your desk and plan your week your way.

Whether your goal is to:
โœ… Be more active
โœ… Stay organised
โœ… Make time for yourself
โœ… Build healthy routines ... we hope it helps!

We'd love to know... what's one healthy habit you're making time for this week?

โšฝ Not the result England fans were hoping for...

However, one of the greatest things sport teaches us is resilience.

Whether you're playing in a World Cup semi-final or taking your first steps towards becoming more active, progress isn't always a straight line.

Every setback is another opportunity to come back stronger. ๐Ÿ’ช

What's one sporting moment you'll never forget? Tell us in the comments! ๐Ÿ‘‡

With temperatures rising this week, it's important to take extra care when staying active. Exercise is great for your physical and mental wellbeing, but hot weather can increase the risk of dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heatstroke.

Here are some simple tips to help you exercise safely during the heatwave:
โœ… Stay hydrated!
โœ… Choose early morning or evenings when temperatures are lower.
โœ… Wear appropriate clothing to help keep you cool.
โœ… Reduce intensity, consider slowing down, take more breaks, or shorten your workout.
โœ… Exercise in the shade or indoors.
โœ… Stop exercising and seek a cool place if you experience dizziness, nausea, excessive fatigue, headache, or confusion.

Looking after your health also means knowing when to rest. There is no harm in adapting your activity levels during extreme weather conditions.

Stay safe, stay hydrated, and keep moving sensibly!
