JJ, who used to be in the riding school, has been enjoying his summer holidays so far with Bec and his livery friends 🥰

☀️A holiday to Collingham Horse Play Park with Belle and Domino
☀️Playing games in the sun at the yard
☀️A hack around Buckleap Cross Country, with a little pop of a couple of logs with Buddy and Tyson
☀️Watching the Solar Eclipse with the herd in the Woodside fields
☀️And showing off his flowing locks at Lambley Show, after a nice hot bath!

Our team at Woodside Riding School would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who took part in our Gymkhana Day yesterday, whether you were riding, supporting from the sidelines cheering everyone on.

Thank you for making the day so special and so welcoming. We’ve absolutely loved watching you all collect your rosettes and celebrate your achievements.

But, by far more important than any rosette, was seeing the incredible horsemanship between the children and their ponies. ❤️

The extra pats when things didn’t quite go to plan, the little snuggles, the kisses, the reassurance and the smiles. Those are the moments that really matter.

We couldn’t be prouder of all of you. Thank you for making our Gymkhana Day one to remember. 🐴❤️

It’s not just ponies for today’s activities, you’ll meet some amazing reptiles, from slithering snakes and tortoises to lots of other fascinating creatures. 🐍🐢🐴

A huge congratulations to Maisie, Callie, their very supportive parents and of course their wonderful new pony, Missy 🐴💕
Both girls have been riding at Woodside Riding School for a few years now, and after showing such dedication and commitment, they took the exciting step of purchasing their own sweet pony just a few months ago.
Yesterday, they headed off to their very first show with Missy and had the most wonderful time. We are incredibly proud of how far they have come in their riding and everything they have achieved.
Of course, the rosettes are fantastic, but what makes us even prouder is seeing the relationship and bond they have already built with Missy in such a short space of time. ❤️
It’s been lovely watching their confidence grow, and we can’t wait to see what this little team gets up to in the future.
Well done girls — you should be incredibly proud of yourselves! 🐴🏆💕

Have any of you ever been lucky enough to spot a deer between the ears of your horse? 🦌🐴
It’s always such a beautiful moment when you catch a glimpse of them. We don’t see deer all that frequently in Bestwood Country Park, as they’re naturally very wary, flight animals and tend to keep their distance from people.
This one, however, decided to stick around just long enough for us to grab a photo or two.
