Ahhhh what an amazing end to our 2026 Summer School!!!! 💕✨🩰🌻🤩🥳

4 days of dancing, singing, playing, crafting, learning, designing & so much more!!! It’s felt like we’ve all been part of the best girl gang this Summer - being ourselves, appreciating each other and most of all having FUN.

Our seniors have made us extra proud as they took on their leadership roles very naturally - having a taster of teaching, leading by example and inspiring our younger dancers. Well done girls.

We also ended our Summer School with a blast this afternoon. Parents… we hope that you loved the show! We are so proud of the girls - their confidence, determination and professionalism at such a young age is amazing to see. Well done everyone. ✨✨✨

Looking for an exciting way to keep your child active, creative and inspired this summer? Our Summer School is the perfect opportunity to experience everything The Nottingham Ballet School has to offer.

Whether your child already dances with us or is looking to try something new, this is a fantastic chance to make new friends, build confidence and discover the fun, supportive environment that makes NBS so special.

Over four exciting days, students will enjoy classes in Ballet, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and Musical Theatre, while working together to prepare for a Summer Showcase for family and friends.

They'll also have the opportunity to learn about:
• Costume design
• Stage make-up
• The perfect ballet bun
• What goes into creating a live performance, including lighting, music and staging

6th August – The Kimberley School

Time: 9:00am–3:00pm

Price: From just £28 per day

Open to children in Reception and above, with senior students encouraged to attend to continue their technique training over the summer.

Amazing work tonight from our West Bridgford super stars - super proud of Miss Louisa’s class. They have demonstrated such dedication and determination in the lead up to their Grade 1 Exams.

It’s amazing to see how hard working all students have been across the school over the past few weeks. They’ve really stepped it up in the studio AND with their independent practice. Only a few days to go! The countdown is on to the big day on Saturday. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Please join us all in wishing Clara a HUGE congratulations. Today we received the news that we’d been waiting for… Clara has successfully auditioned for the Junior Associate programme. YOU DID IT CLARA! ⭐️

Clara will attend associate classes on a weekly basis at RBS. She has trained incredibly hard for this place - and when I say hard, I mean that she literally went (and continues to) go above and beyond expectations. Clara your dedication to your craft and your approach to learning have been outstanding. You completely and utterly deserve this.

Today we celebrated the wonderful Miss Isla as she turned 18 last week. We all absolutely adore Miss Isla and we are so thankful for all of her help, support and kindness that she shares with us as teachers and more importantly every student that walks through our doors. Miss Isla has been a fantastic role model to our students since she was 14 (how the time has flown!). From all of us at NBS, a very HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY 🩰💕🎈
