Santa knows I’m a Lego fan. No skating still for a while but this will keep me occupied 🤣🤣🤣

Fracture clinic this morning. X-ray shows all is good and my ankle isn’t broken-RESULT!! Still a lot of physio ahead but this is a big relief knowing there won’t be any further surgery. #❤️nhs

Discharged and back home 🏡 sofa snuggles with Dr Whippet and quizzes on the telly - thank you to everyone all the skate family my mum and my amazing wife Jane love you 🥰

Recommendations for sports physio in Nottingham - hopefully someone with experience working with skate related injuries - I need to start making a plan for the comeback

It’s kept my spirits up 🫶🫶🫶UPDATE: Still awaiting surgery- turns out I’ve fractured my tibia and fibula so as usual not doing anything by halves 🦴 had a CT scan today which was like being pushed through a giant Polo mint! But I have an arrow so we know which leg we‘re all talking about!! Might need to get that tattooed as a keepsake 🤣🤣🤣And a room with a view of QMC roundabout. If anyone has any recommendations for tv shows/films/books I’d gladly take them cos I’m not sure how long I’m going to be here for and I’m already going a bit stir crazy 😜 big love peeps ❤️❤️❤️

So not even 5 minutes into the session I came off my board and landed badly. I now have a massive spiral fracture requiring surgery and an extremely bruised ego - I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped me last night and for your kind messages - this setback will only herald an almighty comeback 🫶 .lauren
