Through the vets birds where watered and stood for couple of hours and on site now it’s a waiting game to see how weather turns out.

Marking update.
Thanks to all the members & marking teams.
Birds all been collected and have been fed and watered.
Transporter is at the docks waiting for the ferry and will cross tonight.
We would like to thank all sponsors again for the 2026 season.
We would like to thank Mark Gilbert and the committee of the BB&O fed for the use of there transporter for the race.
Also thanks to David Parsons for all his hard work with the club and also in channel racing in general.

Online entries are open, and will close at midnight on Sunday 23rd August. For anyone entering by post who hasn't sent their entry yet, don't risk it, save yourself postal anxiety by ringing the race manager to book your entries instead and pay by card 😁 Telephone entries accepted over the weekend as well as weekdays.

Would like to congratulate J F Haynes of Maidenhead being provisionally 1st open flying 257 miles into section E.

The birds are up at 6.40 UK time. The wind was a light North, and in France winds are North East with a West North West Wind in the channel. In the UK it is forcast to be a North East wind. A tough racing day. Good luck Everyone
