Tough first 2 days of racing for us this week, with an unfortunate call back in our second sprint run yesterday resulting in an unexpected extra raft carry/scramble on the rocks and a tough first round draw against a strong Czech boat in todays RaftX, however we have paddled well with some good lines and pushed all the way to the finish.
One more day of racing to go with slalom tomorrow evening starting around 16:00 CET.
Just one week to go before we head out to Banja Luka, Bosnia for the European Rafting Championships, thank you to our coaches Matt Evans, Matthew Footitt & Joel Lewis-Grey who come rain or shine are there to guide us. Now that the team have recovered (I think!) from the World Cup in Pau, it is back to training ready for the European Championships in Bosnia...in just 2 weeks time!

Day 1 of racing at the United Rafting World Cup in Pau saw us on the podium with Bronze medal in the Sprint. Great course, with fast water and a lot of features, looking forward to RX tomorrow, an event we haven’t tried before.

2026 Update....
So we haven't really posted since the high of Malaysia but we are still here 😆
Unfortunately, we had a little setback just weeks before selections (Beth decided to injure her back/neck), which meant she wasn't available to race. Thankfully, Emilyfrom the U23 team was able to 'double' race allowing the team to still be selected for this year's racing.
Thanks to , Beth is getting back to fitness for our 1st race of the year, World Cup Pau. On Tuesday (21st April) the team will be heading over to France to race in the new United Rafting Race series.
