Acro Spotlight! 🤸‍♀️

Acrobatics combines elements of gymnastics with classical dance technique. We explore both individual acro skills and dance, as well as group acro skills involving lifts and partner tricks. Here’s a look at what Acro looks like at Elevation Dance!😊

At Elevation Dance, we welcome children of all ages to begin to explore acrobatics with us, starting with our Introduction to Dance class for ages 3-5. Our teachers will help you build strength and flexibility needed to unlock new skills.

Children's acrobatics classes will be running on Tuesday afternoons and throughout the day on Saturdays from September at Sherwood Community Centre.

Modern Jazz Spotlight! 🕺

Modern jazz is a popular dance form that encourages the development of personal style and self-expression. There is huge variety in the type of music and style of modern jazz forms. Our classes allow students to experience a range of these, taking inspiration from musical theatre, street, contemporary and jazz. Through our programme of study, dancers are supported in building technique, flexibility and strength.

Here’s what Tap looks like at Elevation Dance! Our passionate teachers will guide you through the joyous journey of tap, helping you find your own rhythm and style.

At Elevation Dance, we welcome children of all ages to begin to explore tap with us, starting with our Introduction to Dance class for ages 3-5.

Children's tap classes will be running on Tuesday afternoons and throughout the day on Saturdays from September at Sherwood Community Centre. We also offer adult tap classes on Thursday evenings.

At Elevation Dance, we welcome children of all ages to begin their ballet journey with us, starting with our Introduction to Dance class for ages 3-5. Our experienced teachers are dedicated to nurturing each dancer's potential, whether they aspire to dance professionally or simply find joy in the art of ballet.
