SEPTEMBER 🤍
If I’m honest, the last couple of months have felt pretty tough for me… Despite being the height of summer 🌺 I felt I was trudging through with a pretty low battery 🪫
I think I took a little bit of a crash after a busy period in the months leading up to summer 🫠 (and also felt like there was something bigger & heavier going on out there in the collective field 🌌 anyone else? 🌚)
That said, I am learning to meet myself where I’m at… I worked a little less, I did a little less, and I embraced the simplicity of time at home, staying put in one place. I’ve even been enjoying some time at the laptop studying 👩💻
I ended August dancing in the woods 💃🪩 And September has brought with it a completely new energy for me. Something has definitely shifted.
Finally, after what felt like a real creative drought of late, I feel the juices slowly starting to bubble again 🫧🫧🫧
& thank god for that 🙌 because I’ve got a whole lot to share with you this month…

One month today… 🌅
One month today, you wake up and realise you have the whole day ahead of you with nothing required of you except to be right here.
There is time here.
Time to notice what the morning feels like on your skin. Time to feel the ground beneath your feet. Time to listen to what your body might be asking for.
Our daily morning practice becomes an invitation to begin the day from the inside out… through movement, breath, sensation and embodied awareness.
What is here? What is asking for attention? What happens when you give yourself enough space to actually feel?
Over the course of the day ahead you find time for movement and stillness, time together and time alone, nourishing food, conversation, laughter, exploration and plenty of space to simply be.
Woven through the days ahead is an invitation to explore what it means to feel rooted in yourself, to listen more deeply to the intelligence of the body, and to reconnect with the parts of yourself that can so easily get lost amongst the noise and busyness of everyday life.
By evening, we gather around the table, perhaps a little sun-kissed, a little softer around the edges. Perhaps you feel a little different… perhaps you’re more you.
This is the kind of space we want to offer you in Portugal this September.
Not a week packed full of things to do. Not another opportunity to optimise yourself. But a little pocket of time in which you can step out of your usual rhythm and remember what it feels like to inhabit your own.
One month today… One room left…
Is this your invitation? 💌

Calling all yoga teachers…
INTRODUCING…
THE ARCHITECTURE & ALCHEMY OF VINYASA FLOW 🌀
A 100-hour professional teaching immersion designed for yoga teachers who want to move beyond qualification and into confident, intelligent, embodied teaching.
If you’re a yoga teacher based in Norwich and looking to refine your craft, find new inspiration, and offer your students classes with more layers and depth… this might be for you.
Myself & Abby Hoffman, owner & founder of Yantra Studio will be offering this 100HR immersion in-person in Norwich beginning in October 2026. The training will run across 4 weekend modules, with additional online training and content to support your learning.
THE ARCHITECTURE 🧱 - with Abby
The first two modules will explore how a class is built: its structure, rhythm, pacing and progression; the relationship between music and movement; and how an understanding of Flow Psychology can help us create experiences that feel absorbing, purposeful and memorable. Abby’s approach isn’t about learning someone else’s sequences or being given a formula to reproduce, it’s about understanding the principles deeply enough to make intelligent creative choices of your own.
THE ALCHEMY 🪄 - with Marie Williams
The second two modules will be taught by me and take us into an in-depth awareness of the more subtle territory of teaching and the art and craft of holding space. This will of course be drawn from my own teaching style and background in somatics; inspiring you to alchemise what you have learnt in the architecture module to create authentic and intentional classes and immersive embodied experiences for your students. We’ll explore embodied anatomy, somatic movement principles, body-led language & cueing, teaching presence, and knowledge and understanding of the nervous system.
Sound like it could be the right fit for you?
Join us for the ‘A&A’ Immersion Day on Saturday 12th September Yantra Studio - an opportunity to experience this approach before deciding whether the full training is right for you 😊

I’ve been feeling very quiet and introverted after a busy few months of outward energy, hosting retreats, workshops and teacher trainings.
I’ve found myself feeling drawn back towards my 1:1 client work, to slower, more intimate spaces of connection. And, alongside that, making a little more room for my own learning, reflection and care.
One thing I’ve realised is that I rarely talk about my Somatic Therapy work here… This space has always been largely yoga-focused, and over the last three years I’ve been fortunate that my therapy practice has grown enough organically, that I haven’t actually needed to advertise my services.
But it also means many people don’t really know what I do beyond yoga, or what somatic therapy actually is.
The more I deepen into this work, the more I feel it’s important to share it. Not because I have all the answers, but because I’ve witnessed how profoundly healing it can be when we include the body in the process of healing, recovery and self-understanding.
I’ve been sitting with questions about how to share this work in a way that feels true to me. Without chasing trends or clickbait. Without feeling pulled into comparison. Just slowly finding a language that feels honest, embodied and real.
So for now, I’m allowing myself to stay with those questions rather than rushing towards certainty.
I’m also spending some time immersed in further therapeutic study 🙇♀️
So if I’ve seemed a little quieter lately, that’s why.
I’m still here. Living a little more slowly. Spending time with friends and family. Enjoying my own company. Learning. Listening.
And, when the time feels right, my intention is to share more of this part of my work with you ❤️
