We are a friendly recreational paddling club, located in Norwich. You can learn how to canoe, kayak and paddleboard with our qualified coaches.

This week’s club night was all about rescues. Rescuing canoes, kayaks, paddleboards… and a few soggy paddlers too. Loads of fun on the water, plenty of laughs, and some brilliant new skills learnt together.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Rod and John from Holt & District Rotary this week, part of the legendary Three Old Men in Boats team, now totalling 245 years young and having raised over £22,500 for in previous years. They’re paddling an incredible 500 miles, and to support their challenge we’ve lent them two kayaks to help keep them moving toward their goal. Good luck to you both, the whole club is behind you 💙🚣♂️

What’s on this month?
We’ve got two two touring trips 🛶 kicking off in Llangollen this weekend, then heading to the River Medway later on this month. Two paddleboard adventures and our always brilliant Wednesday club nights, and it’s shaping up to be a packed month on the water.

Canoe polo brought out everyone’s competitive streak last night 😄 We got soaked (and not just from the rain), took a few dramatic swims, and the red team scored plenty of goals. Such a fun night at the club with this brilliant gang 🚣♀️
Shout out to our incredible group of newbies who completed their final induction session this week! This multiweek programme gives newbies the chance to learn and build their confidence across different crafts, and what a fantastic bunch of paddlers we have been working with this summer!

We had a variety of different groups running including multi-craft rescue sessions, WW skills, rolling practice, plus paddleboard and touring craft trips down the river. It's wonderful to see our community come together on these nights and see what we've all been working on.
