Congratulations to Leo Stebbings, who won the Juniors’ Summer Knockout Final on Sunday 31 August, beating Louis Marling 2 up in a closely fought final 🏆

A big well done to Louis on a fantastic run, and to all the juniors who took part in this year’s knockout competition, which was played throughout the season ⛳️👏

Congratulations to Seb Lonsdale, who was crowned Junior Champion 2026 on Saturday 29 August, finishing with a gross score of 91 from the Pennink white tees 🏆

A huge well done to Cooper Barnes too, who took home the nett score trophy! 👏

It was a challenging day on the course, with heavy rain and difficult lies making for some tough conditions. A big well done to everyone who took part!

Congratulations to our Cullington team, who secured a fantastic 7-1 victory over Swaffham in their semi-final at Bawburgh on Sunday 🏆

After a strong performance in the morning sessions, the team continued to build on their lead and confidently secured their place in the final.

Next up is a local derby against Mattishall on 13th September, with the final being held at Sprowston Manor.

🏆 A fantastic win for Barnham Broom 🏆

Congratulations to Jo Ashmore & Vanessa Mann, who secured an impressive 6 & 4 victory over Sheringham in the semi-final of the County Carrick Cup.

Played on Sunday at a very dry and challenging Eaton course, Jo and Vanessa showed fantastic form to book their place in the County Carrick Cup Final on 13th September.

A huge congratulations to our Barnham Broom Juniors – Eva, Louis, Ben & Seb – who won the KK Smith County Trophy with a fantastic 3–1 victory against Dunstan Hall!

Played in challenging conditions at Bawburgh Golf Club, this is a brilliant achievement, with our Juniors now winning the trophy twice in three years, alongside the Bass Trophy in 2025 👏

We’re incredibly proud of you all! 🏆⛳️

Congratulations to our Barnham Broom Junior Bass Team, who reached this year's semi-final against Royal Cromer, played at Sheringham on Saturday 25 July ☀️

With hot temperatures, strong winds and a very dry course producing some unpredictable bounces, it was a challenging day for everyone involved ⛳️

After finishing the four matches tied at 2–2, the contest went to a play-off, where our team narrowly missed out on the very first extra hole. It couldn't have been much closer.

A huge well done to all of our juniors for an outstanding campaign. They played superbly throughout the competition and represented Barnham Broom with great skill, determination and sportsmanship. We couldn't be prouder. 🏌️‍♂️👏

Congratulations to our Cullington Cup team on securing their place in this year's semi-finals! A long trip to Heacham Manor, coupled with challenging windy conditions, proved a real test, but the team held their nerve to clinch a hard-fought 4.5–3.5 victory.

A fantastic result and a well-deserved place in the semi-finals. Good luck to the team in the next round against Swaffham! 🏌️‍♂️💙

Congratulations to Eva Freeman, who was crowned Women's County Division 1 Champion at Royal Norwich after scoring an impressive 39 points to beat some of Norfolk's top women golfers 🏆⛳

Just weeks earlier, Eva also finished 2nd in the Junior Girls' Championship at Sprowston Manor with a superb nett score of 73.

At just 17 years old, Eva is a valued member of Barnham Broom's successful Junior Section. A huge congratulations on these fantastic achievements! 💚

A fantastic week for our Ladies County League teams! 👏 ⛳️

Our Team 1, newly promoted to Division 1 this season, secured two impressive victories in just five days:
🏌️‍♀️ 4½–2½ vs Kings Lynn (16th July)
🏌️‍♀️ 4½–2½ vs Royal Cromer (20th July)

Both hard-fought matches were played on our Pennink Course, which received wonderful compliments from both visiting teams for its exceptional condition.

Congratulations also to Team 2, who celebrated a fantastic 4–3 home victory over Wensum Valley on 16th July.
